Chronage2003 Now! The ultimate tool for calculating children's ages to the nearest completed month. This one combines the best features of the older versions. It's an MS Excel workbook with 2 sheets. The first simply calculates ages, the other works out the differences between ages and test scores.     xls
Chronagecalc Another Excel spreadsheet that calculates your class's ages on a given date from their dates of birth. This newer version, by David Brown, is easy to use - you can even set it to update itself to the current date.  Very useful!     xls
Chronage_comp

Neil Whitmill has taken David Brown's version of the chronological age calculator and added to it. To quote Neil : I have used the chrono age calculator a great deal - really good! Now I've adapted it so that it can store test results and compare standardised ages giving a variant against the actual age of the student/pupil. Many thanks to your original supplier.     xls
My_year4_report An end of year self-assessment sheet for Year 4 children. Thanks to Pam Caines.   doc
Nfercalc If you use the NFER Group Reading Test 9-14 this little spreadsheet from Roberta Downton will calculate "Standardised Age Score" and "Reading Age" for the NFER Group Reading Test 9-14 - using Combo sliders to avoid numerical input and the ambiguities of "duodecimal" years. It needs no instructions or Add-Ins, and is protected to be blunder-proof.

This file requires MS Excel 2000 or later.

  xls
Nursery_reports A report format for nursery children and a "I can.." sheet for small people to complete. Submitted by Sally Michie     zip
PE_keywords This MS Excel file contains an extract of the active verbs from the level descriptors in NC2000 version of the PE curriculum. Thanks to Martyn Fearn     xls
QCA Assessment Sheets David Warbrick has produced a series of assessment sheets for KS1/2. David explains: A single 2 sided A4 sheet for each of the QCA units of work- there are 3 expected levels of outcome- Most children will..... Some children will do better and...... Some children will not do as well and....... The reverse of the sheet contains the "small steps" the learning objectives for the scheme as a means of recording the achievements of those children who didn't achieve the expected outcomes.
You can find further details and the whole set of sheets at David's website.
