Then knead the dough and store it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator until needed. Note: If you want the playdough to have more "bounce"--add another tablespoon of cream of tartar. ______________________ Playdough That Hardens and Can Be Painted 2 cups corn starch 1 cup baking soda 1 cup water with food coloring of choice added METHOD: Mix all ingredients and cook, stirring constantly until a ball forms. Knead the dough as it cools (it will have an unusuala and appearling texture). Sore in a plastic bag in refrigerator until needed. ________________________ Bakers Clay -- which can be left to harden on its own or baked in an oven 4 cups clour 1 cup salt 1-1/2 cups warm water METHOD: Mix all ingredients together. Store in an air-tight container. _________________________ Modeling Clay (a very soft clay) 1 cup salt 1-1/2 cups flour 1-1/2 cups warm water 2 tablespoons oil 1 tablespoon food coloring Mix all ingredients together. Store in an air-tight plastic container until needed.
