Congruence

Today we are going to look at a very simple idea, but an awful word!

Congruence (con-gru-ence)

This terrible word is used to describe shapes that are the SAME SIZE and SHAPE.

Try this question.

Yes! They are they are both the same size and shape.

Here is another slightly harder question:

Which of these shapes is not congruent to A?

The answer is D because the shape is different from A.

Well that is it for congruence. That was very easy wasn't it?

Review

Two shapes are congruent if they are the same size and shape.

Good luck!
